How do I see a list of ALL members?

•Click on “All Memebrs” link which will direct you to the members page.
•You can scroll down to see a list of all members.

How do I search for Members?

Method 1:
•Click on “Home” in the the navigation menu on the left hand side.
Scroll down
•Click on “+” on the quick search form, it will expand to reveal the search criteria. You can select as many criteria as you would like.
Scroll down
•Click on “search” which will direct you to the members page, any members with matching results will be displayed.
Note: The search criteria will remain in effect until you clear the form by clicking on the “clear” link at the top of the search form.
Method 2:
•Click on “Home” in the the navigation menu on the left hand side.
Scroll down
•Click on “All members” which will direct you to the members page.
•Click on “+” on the detailed member search form, it will expand to reveal the search criteria. You can select as many criteria as you would like.

How do I send an invite to join Naughty Neighborhoods?

•Scroll slightly down and click on the “Send Invites” link.
•Section 1 – You can enter up to 5 email addresses (one per line).
•Section 2 – Subject cannot be changed.
•Section 3 – Body of the message can be altered to your liking.
•Section 4 – You can add invitations to groups you belong to.
•Click on “send invites”.
Note: Once the invitations have been sent, you will see a notification that the emails were sent sucessfully. You can scroll down slightly to see all invitations you have sent and who has accepted.

 

How do I view another members profile?

You need to have an active membership and be logged in.
Once logged in you will be on your account page.
•Click on “Home”
•Scroll down slightly and click on “all members”.
You can perform a search by clicking on the “+” in front of the “quick search” form. Once the results are displayed.
•Click on the member’s profile photo or username, you will be directed to the member’s home page.
•Scroll down slightly and click on “profile” link to view the member’s profile.
Note: You will only see the profile fields that the member allows to be seen.

How can I change my Email address?

You need to have an active membership and be logged in.
Note: In order for you to change your email address you will have to know your current password.
•Scroll slightly down and click on the “Settings” link.
•Click in the “current password” field and type your current password.
•Click in the “email” field and type the new email address.
•Click on “save changes”.
Note: You will be notified that your changes have been saved and that a confirmation email has been sent to the new email address. You must click on the verification link for the changes to be implimented to your account.
•Click on “go here to confirm the change”.
Note: You will be redirected to a new page with the notification that You have successfully verified your new email address.
•Scroll down slightly and visually confirm that your emaill address has been updated.

How do I change my password?

Note: In order for you to change your password you will have to know your current password.
•Scroll slightly down and click on the “Settings” link.
•Click in the “current password” field and type your current password.
•Click on “generate password”.
Note: Once you have clicked on generate password, you can click in the add new password field and type a new password that can be remembered easily.
•Click on “save changes”.
Note: You will be notified that your changes have been saved and you will also receive an email about the password change.

How do I change my email notifications?

You will see a list of email notification by categories, messages, friends, groups. You can turn these notification on or off depending on your perferences.

Note: you will recieve a notification saying “Your notification settings have been saved”.

How to restrict group invites to "Friends ONLY" ?

•Scroll down slightly.
You will see a check box labeled “I want to restrict Group invites to my friends only”.
•Tick the checkbox.
•Click on “Save”.
Note: you will recieve a notification saying “Group invites preferences saved”.

How do I see a list of members I have blocked?

You need to have an active membership and be logged in.
•Scroll down slightly.
•Click on “settings”.
•Click on “Blocked Members”.
•Scroll down slightly.
You will see a list of members you currently block. You can UNblock a member by clicking the “unblock” link to the right of the member’s name. You will recieve a notification saying “User successfully unblocked”.
Note: if you block a member, you will no longer be able to view the member’s profile.

 

How do I create an event?

You need to have an active membership and be logged in.
•Scroll down slightly.
•Click on “Events”.
•Click on “Create event”.
•Scroll down slightly.
You will see a form to create an event.
Section 1 – Title, it is best to title your event with the city and state abreviation and then the event name.
Section 2 – description, tell something about your event to intice other members to want to come.
Section 3 – date, always include a date for the event.
Section 4 – time, always include a time for the event.
Section 5 – location, always include a location for the event, but for safety reasons please be a little vauge. you can say My home, Motel / Hotel…ETC. Never give out the physical address until you are comfortable doing so.
Section 6 – URL, this is optional, you may want to include a link to event related website or article.
Category is otional.
•Click on “Save”. You will be notified the event was saved. The event will become visible to all members, in the “Events” list on the righthand side bar.

How do I see, edit or delete my events?

You need to have an active membership and be logged in.
•Scroll down slightly.
•Click on “Events”.
You will see a list of all your event you have created. There you will find two categories for your events, upcoming and archive. By default the list will show your upcoming events. If your event has expired, it will be in the archive section and removed for the righthand sidebar. You can toggle between the two categories to view your events.
To delete an event:
•Click on “Delete”.
To edit an event:
•Click on “edit”. Make the necessary changes.
•Click on “Save”. You will be notified the event was saved. You should be able to see the updated changes in the “Events” list on the righthand side bar.

How do I see my activity?

•Click on “Activity”.
•Scroll down slightly.
•You will see 5 categories of activity, personal, mentions, favorites, friends, and groups.
•You will see your personal activity by default.
•You can toggle between the categories to see the activity in each category.
Note what each category means:
Personal: your personal activity.
Mentions: If anyone mentions you in a post using your @username.
favorites: Activity for anything you may have favorited.
Friends: Activity of any of your friends.
Groups: Activity of the groups where you are a member.

How do I see my groups?

•You will see a list of all your groups you are currently a member of.
•You can toggle between “memberships” and “Invitations” to see if you have any pending group invites.

How do I post to my groups?

•You will see a section labeled “What’s new, username or name?
•You click inside the text box and start typing your message. This message will be viewable by ALL members of the group.

How do I add image, video, or link to post in my group?

•Click on “Groups”.
•Click on group title.
•Scroll down slightly.

•Scroll down slightly.
•You will see a section labeled “What’s new, username or name?
•You click inside the text box and start typing your message. This message will be viewable by ALL members of the group.
If you would like to add:
Image – Click on the camera icon, the section will expand.
•Click on “Upload a file”. – This will open your file explorer to locate the image you would like to attach to the message. You can add more than one image.
•Click on “Submit images post” or cancel.
Video – Click on the film strip icon, the section will expand.
You can paste a video URL within the text box, you can preview the video by clicking on the preview button. You can ONLY add one video at a time.
•Click on “Submit video post” or cancel.
Link – Click on the chain icon, the section will expand.
You can paste a link URL within the text box, you can preview the link by clicking on the preview button. You can ONLY add one link at a time
•Click on “Submit link post” or cancel.

How do I see my notifications?

•Scroll down slightly.
•Click on “notifications”.
•You will see all your “Unread” notifications by default.
•You can toggle between “Unread” and “Read” to see your notification in each category.
You have the ability to delete notifications, mark notifications as read or select multiple notifications and perform a bulk action.

How do I see my friends?

•You will see a list of all your friends who accepted your friend request by default.
•You can toggle between “friendships” and “Request” to see if you have any pending friend request. Pending request are from other members requesting you to become their friend.

Profile Questions:

How do I change my profile visibility?

•Scroll down slightly.
•Click on “settings”.
•Scroll down slightly.
•Click on “profile visibility”.
•Scroll down slightly.
There are 4 categories, Base, photos, stats, and naughtyness.
•You will see a list of each field within your profile, to the right of each field you will see the settings of who can view that field. Change the permissions of who can view the field according to your comfort level.
Note: Other members will still be able to search profiles but will not be able to see the field if it is set to “only me”.
•Click on “save changes”.

How do I edit my profile?

You will see four sections, base (by default), photos, stats, and naughtyness. You can alter the profile fields in each section and choose to change who can see the profile field by clicking the “change” button below each field. Make sure you scroll down to the bottom of each section when done.
•Click on “save changes”.
You will be notified “changes saved”.

You will be notified “Your new profile photo was uploaded successfully”.

How do I use a member type icon as my profile photo?

•Click on “member types” at the top of the website.
•Hover over the icon image you would like to choose.
Right click, and choose “save image as” option.
this will open a window explorer box where you can choose the location where you wish to ave the image. By default it will open the downloads folder.
•Click on “Save”. The image will download and save.
press the back button on your browser window to return to your account page.

•Click on “Private message”, next to the members profile icon.

There is a text box where you can type your message to the member.
•Click on the blue airplane icon to the right of the text box to send the message.

 

How do I send a private message to multiple members?

•Scroll down slightly.
•Click on “Messages”.
•Scroll down slightly.
•Click on “+”sign at the top of the messages section.
This will launch a new message thread.
•Click into “Send to” field.
Start typing the member name or friends name, based your entry, there will be member suggestions. Select the member you want by clicking on their name.
Then continue to type the next members name. Select the user by clicking on their name. Once finished selecting the members.
•Click into “Subject” field. Type your subject.
•Click into “message” box. Type your message. Once finished
•Click on “Send Message”.
•Scroll up slightly.
You will se at the top of the message area, the subject of the message, to the right of that you will see an icon with the number of participants.
•Click on “Paticipant” icon to reveal the participants and additional settings.
to the right of the participant icon you will see 3 dots. by clicking the 3 dots, you can mute the conversation or invite another paticipant.
•Click on “Messages”. in the left navigational menu to return to messages main panel. Here you will see the messages you just created.

How do I attach a photo or video to a message?

•Scroll down slightly.
•Click on “Messages”.
•Click on “+”sign at the top of the messages section.
This will launch a new message thread.
•Click into “Send to” field.
Start typing the member name or friends name, based your entry, there will be member suggestions. Select the member you want by clicking on their name.
•Click into “Subject” field. Type your subject.
•Click into “message” box. Type your message.
Once finished click on the paperclip icon to add a photo, or video.
This will open a dialog window asking you to drop files here, paste or browse.
•Click on “Browse”.
This will open your file explorer to locate the image or video you would like to attach to the message. You can add more than one image.
Select the image or video and click “Open”.
You will see a notification that the image was uploaded to the message. If you wish to add another image, you can select “browse” again.
Once you are finished, click on the “X” in the upper right corner.
This will take you back to your message, you’ll see a number next to the paperclip icon, indicating the number of attachments.
You can also add emojis to your message by clicking on the emoji icon. To close the emoji window click “X” in the message box.
•Click on “Send Message”.
•Click on “Messages”. in the left navigational menu to return to messages main panel. Here you will see the messages you just created.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can cancel your reoccurring membership at any time after the trial period. Make sure it is before your re-bill date.
•Click on “membership”.
•Click on “subscriptions”.
This will show you your subcriptions, the last column will have 3 option links, “Update”, “Change plan”, and “Cancel”.
•Click on “Cancel”.
You will be presented with a pop-up dialog box asking if you are sure you want to cancel.
•Click on “Yes” to cancel or “No” to abort the process.
Note: you will still have access to the site until your membership plan expires, but you will NOT be re-billed.

Can I suspend my membership?

No, at the current time you will not be able to suspend your membership.

Can I upgrade my membership?

This will show you your subcriptions, the last column will have 3 option links, “Update”, “Change plan”, and “Cancel”.
•Click on “Update”.
You will be presented with a credit card form to fill out all the neccessary information including credit card number.
•Click on “Update Credit Card”.
You will receive notifications that the account information was sucessfully updated.
